Hi there! I appreciate the time you are taking to read this. I am here for my mother, also known to many, as Mama Tess. I would like to share a small portion of her story.
My mom has always been a selfless woman who has given everything to not only her own children, but also to many that she has "adopted" as her own. As long as I can remember, she has sacrificed much of herself for the goodwill of others. She has opened up her home to those in need, extended invites to family gatherings to those without, and has always fed the hungry. This genorosity of hers has touched not only her own family & friends, but also perfect strangers. I have stood by her side, in the cold, to help her accomplish her desire to reach out to the homeless. Many folks who have been without, have been blessed by care packages that she has put together with her very own limited funds & the donations of friends who want to help see her reach her goal in helping those in need. Well, now, unfortunately, she is the one who could use the extra "help".
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and as a single mother without a retirement fund, things have not been easy. She has struggled tremendously, both physically and financially. Part of her extremely faithful spirit has been broken and it hurts. Despite the challenging hand she has been dealt, she has never given up. Shortly after her victorious fight with cancer, she lost her only source of income due to an awful accident. She has been unable to find work since. With being only a few years shy of the average retirement age, she has had a difficult time being considered a canidate for employment. This breaks my heart. She has worked long & hard her entire adult life and raised five children in the process. She is absolutely deserving of any charity/blessing that comes her way. It is quite humbling to be in a position to have to ask for help, but am willing to do it on her behalf. Every little bit helps. We appreciate even the smallest donation! Please help give back to "Mama Tess" all of what she has put out to others over the decades.Thank you for your consideration. Many blessings!
