UGA Tuition Cost

Donation protected
Hey all!

My name is Drew. I attend the University of Georgia, but this prestigious institution also comes with a hefty price tag. Each year, it is my responsibility to meet the nearly $10,000 cost to attend the university. Even though I do receive need-based financial aid and the HOPE Scholarship, I am also obligated to another responsibility: my family. Next year, I will be a sophomore who has celebrated his one-year anniversary with his wife, Amber, (yay!) and first birthday for his daughter, Abigail, (yay!).
Ever since we first moved to Athens, leaving behind our families, we have had to make it on our own. Amber has been trying to find a teaching job since she graduated from the University of West Georgia since 2009, but with the recent economic downturn, there has been no luck. With the weight now on my shoulders to provide for my family, I had to get a student job. That was not a problem with me because I was definitely willing to support my family even if I was only making a small contribution. Some how, we have managed to meet all of our bills each month (rent, bills, etc.).
Our family has helped so much these past months, but there is only so much that they can do. I don't mean to sound petty, nor do I want to be bothersome, but I am trying to get us through these hard times. I know that there is light at the end of this dark, gloomy tunnel, but it's hard to see it...will you shed a light on our predicament; will you please help us out?
Thank you in advance for all help!
