Ivan's Incidentals Paramedic Fund

Did you know Ivan Lakish has been up in Denver attending Paramedic school since January? Did you know that a small group of community members have been helping him with insidentals? While school costs are handled by the Baca Grande POA, in order to attend school full time Ivan has had to leave his source of income and piece together paying for bills and food. Like many caregivers Ivan has a difficult time asking for help. But he needs it. So I ask you to consider giving even $5. He is living frugally, couch hoping where he can - but the reality is that he has bills and food that need to be covered. This $5,400 would cover March, April, May and June bills.  As well as help through July and August when he will be completeting 600 clinical hours in Alamosa.
Ivan has lived in our community for most of his life. He has been a volunteer firefighter and Search & Rescue member for the last 15 years and on the volunteer EMT service for the last 8 years.  He will be returning to home to be a Paramedic in our rural community.
