Wheelchair van benefit for Brenden

My name is Kori. Our family is trying to raise money to make a down payment for a van with a wheelchair lift. My son has a degenerative muscle disease with no cure.  As the child ages they begin to lose muscle mass at an accelerated rate.  By the age of 12 he will be completely confined to a wheelchair.  As life goes on he will lose the ability to use his hands and will eventually die of heart or lung failure.  Life expectancy is around twenty years. We need to raise a substantial amount of money to use as a down payment on a wheelchair accessible van.  If you do any research you will notice these vans are very expensive.  We need to have a significant down payment in order to keep the monthly payment low.  We are in the process of moving to a home without stairs so Brenden can access the whole house.  It is very hard to ask family and friends for donations,  but there is very little help available when it comes to transportation.  We are planning some other fund raising events for the summer as well.  This will be our last personal fund raiser.  I just want to thank all of the people that helped with our last campaign and making it a success.  As you can see in the picture we were able to get Brenden the best chair money can buy.  Anything helps, also looking for ideas and volunteers to help in Wisconsin this summer
