Thanks for taking time to stop by our GoFundMe page to hear more about Gina's cancer journey to this point!
As many of you know, Gina was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in January 2019. How did she find it you ask? Late last year Gina noticed some swollen areas on her neck and when a CT scan came back normal her doctor recommended a biopsy to have them tested. Even these tests came back normal, however we were fortunate to have a doctor who insisted on sending the sample to MAYO Clinic where they finally found Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Well this definitely threw a wrench in our plans to have a big wedding in May..
After thinking it over for about two seconds we decided we're not waiting any longer so let's just do this thing! We decided on one of the few places you can plan a wedding in two weeks... Vegas! We got married in the desert outside of Las Vegas on February 6th.
On February 11th, the following week, Gina would begin her first round of chemotherapy. Since then we've been going to St. Luke's every other Monday for infusions.
Her treatment is going well and she continues to smile through this almost every day! We are so grateful for all the support we've received from our friends and family and love you all.
We are not asking for wedding gifts but would love any prayers and contributions to help pay for her treatment.
Love,
Gina and Aaron
