Love For Ellis

On Sunday, May 13th, my dad was involved in a devastating and life changing motorcycle accident. In addition to two spinal fractures, broken ribs, and a broken hip, his right leg from the knee down was crushed, resulting in the amputation of his right leg, just above the knee. Right now, he is at the beginning of a long and arduous journey. He is in ICU at Legacy Emmanuel and is not even aware at this time, the severity of his injuries.

These are all titles my dad has held, but the titles only give a small hint of the measure a man whose passion for life and people have caused him to be etched in the hearts of so many. 

Our most intense hope for him is that through love, rehabilitation, and the right prosthesis, he can gain back the life that he has loved for so many years.

That is why, it is very important for everyone who cares for him to pull together, not only emotionally, but financially with whatever they are able to share. The right rehabilitation and prosthesis can make all the difference for him!

Please help him in any way you can to get back to the light hearted, dancing, joking, generous, kicking butt guy we all know and love!!
