Recipient and Living Donor Expenses

Up until 2009 my husband has lived a normal active life, one day he experience fatigue and shortness of breath, after going to the ER the Dr's discovered he had a blood clot that traveled from his right leg up to his lungs. A year later he was told that he would have to go on Dailysis after 4 surgeries he started  treatment at the Dailysis Center 3 days a week for 41/2 hours a day. Later he decided to do his treatments at home with the Peritoneal dialysis which requires him to be hooked up to a machine every night for at least 9 hours.  
He was recently  blessed with a kidney  donor, who lives over 500 miles away, the donor has been through several tests to show that the kidney is a 100% match. The surgery is due to be performed in Winston Salem, NC. All the previous tests that have been performed and the surgery will and have been covered by the medical insurance. We had applied to a  government assistance  program, which denied our application for assistances, we are currently seeking to raise the funds to assist with travel, lodging  and food expenses which are not covered. We are currently waiting for the actually surgery date, however the Dr's have a tentative date  for the week of April 6, 2015. Our target date to have the funds is May 15, 2015.  Any amount that you could donate will be greatly appreciated, we are trusting and believing God for a blessing.
