Travel expenses for Chemo Treatment

Donation protected
This is my step dad Fred's story. About 2 years ago he ended up in the hospital with Pneumonia. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because thanks to that he was diagnosed early enough with pancreatic cancer . He went through Chemo and has been doing great until recently.
After being in remission for nearly 2 years they found cancer moved to his lung. His doctors in DFW didn't give him a good prognosis, but he's a fighter so he did not take "no" for an answer. After doing some researh my mom and him went to Cancer Centers of America in Chicago and they were a lot more optimistic. He had surgery right away and they removed the tumor on his lung. For treatment, he will have to fly to Chicago every 2 weeks for the next 6 months. This not only involves the travel expenses for him and my mom, but missing work so often will mean less income for both of them as well. He is one of the most giving and selfless people I know. If only a small percentage of people were as thoughtful as him, our world would be a much better place. Please help support his journey so he can focus on fighting and getting better. We will be forever grateful.
