Hello, my name is Ellen Huang, and I am one of the Stanford nurses who works with Miles’s mom, Sasha.
I am starting this GoFundMe fundraising account on behalf of Miles Kaufhold Nelson and family.
Miles is not even a month old and has spent 50% of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Lucile Packer Children’s hospital.
As Miles fights to get better. I am asking for family and friends to support this family financially. Having a newborn is supposed to be the happiest time for the family, but this unexpected journey will add an increase amount of medical bills for the inpatient treatment, medications, and future follow-up costs.
I work side-by-side with Miles’s mother and she is an excellent nurse. As nurses, we spent our time worrying and taking care of all patients that come to us. We give our time, skills and breaks just so that our patients can rest a little easier, breathe a little better, and hopefully recover so they can go home. I am hoping this fundraiser account can help this hard working mom and her sweet family a little relief during this difficult time.
