On March 11, our brother Bryan's daughter Aizlee   was involved in a terrible car accident and transported to hospital by medi-vac with multiple life threatening injuries.  Her bladder was torn, she had a broken pelvis, damaged to both knees, and her front teeth were chipped in half. After a series of surgeries, it looked like she had a long road to recovery, but her prognosis was good. Suddenly, on March 22 while still in hospital, she suffered a hemorrhage of the cerebral cortex and a series of strokes. Emergency brain surgery was performed, but the doctors feared that even with their quick intervention, her prognosis for recovery was bleak. So far, their fears have yet to be abated. She remains in a coma, with no sign of brain function or recovery.  What the future holds is unknown, and so her parents, Bryan and Joanne, have had to relocate from Kelowna to Edmonton to be by her side. They have both had to leave work in Kelowna and yet they are still maintaining their home there as well as having to rent near the hospital in Edmonton  as they don't know how long she will remain in this condition, or if she will be transferred closer to home. Right now, transporting her is not an option given her condition. Bryan and Joanne have showed remarkable strength, cohesiveness and grace as they chart these unknown waters. Hopefully they will eventually be able to transport her via air to Kelowna, however this will be at their expense. Their youngest daughter is still in high school, finishing up her senior year, so it is still necessary for them to maintain residence in Kelowna.  Having one's daughter's  life hanging in the balance is stressful and painful enough, not working and still having the expense of day to day living on top of that seems like too  much for anyone to bear. We, Aizlee's Aunts and Uncles are asking for financial contributions for Bryan and Joanne to at least help alleviate the stress from the financial burden they are under.  If you are able to support in any way big or small, we and they would be extremely grateful. If you are unable to give financial support, please keep Bryan, Joanne and Aizlee in your prayers.

 God bless you.
