Nyxs Birthday Accident and Surgery Fundraiser

Hi Folks. I'm Nyx. On my birthday, Sept 6th, I was in a car accident that totaled my vehicle. While the crash was low speed and low impact, the structure of the car was entirely compromised. Due to necessary house repairs (not including purchasing my home), and existing medical bills, I haven't had the chance to rebuild my savings. It’s necessary that I have access to a personal vehicle to get around, especially because I can’t always rely upon my neighbors to continue bringing me to my doctor's appointments or to the grocery store.

Above the necessity of needing a form of transportation, I’m also preparing for the first of a series of surgeries (Sept 18th). The cost of a safe or certified used car is about the same as a solid downpayment, which is why I’m initially asking for $10k. Your support, whether it is financial or by sharing the fundraiser to your friends, is greatly appreciated. Any funds over what I'd need for a car will go directly into the copays for my surgeries.
