NYU trip

As some people may know, I recently got into NYU. I come from a low-income, single parent family, so I can not afford a trip to see the school. The reason that I am trying to fundraise $3000 is so that I can take an adult with me as well and cover the place we will being staying at, the food, etc. I have always worked hard in school, I truly care for my education and I want to see if the NYU campus will be a great fit for me. Usually, the school offers to help the admitted student, but financial aid is not being offered to me because I did not get a signature from my father, who I have no contact with. I tried discussing this with the financial aid office but they are not giving me a solution. I told them that I filled out every form that they required but they said that there was nothing do about it, however I think that there is always a solution and I think that if a phone call could not solve it, then maybe face to face will.  As well as viewing the schools and its atmosphere, I will be trying to come up with a solution with the officials of the university.  Anything and everything helps. Please help, if you are able to and please spread this around. I want to get on a flight within the next two or two and a half weeks.
