Zambia Mission Trip

Dear friends and family,
Shortly I will be off to Lusaka, Zambia where I will serve alongside our church in support of our long-term missionary family, Tim and Niai Byrd.
Tim and Niai have served with Campus Outreach in Johannesburg, South Africa and Lusaka, Zambia for 14 years. One year ago he moved to Zambia praying the Lord would raise up a generation of Zambians who would come to faith, begin to grow as disciples, and eventually give their lives in Zambia or as mobilized students to unreached people groups in Africa.
I will be going with a team from Anacostia River Church from March 13-22, 2020.
On this Short-term mission trip, we will live in the midst of the Zambian culture. The purpose of our trip is two-fold:
1) To encourage and support our long-term missionary family through outreach, evangelism and building relationships with other students on campus
2) Exchange cultural and ministry ideas regarding reaching students on campus in Zambia and the United States.
I'm excited about the opportunity and experience that lies ahead. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $3000, most of which is due by Feb 1st, 2020.
Would you partner with me in two ways?
First, most importantly, will you partner with us in prayer? Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in this country. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
Second, would you partner with me financially by contributing to our mission costs? Any amount helps in advancing the gospel in Zambia and beyond.
