Dear Family and Friends:
I am Nylah Custalow, a junior at Park View Senior High School located in South Hill, Virginia. My parents Dannie Custalow and Candy (Ivin) Parker are excited to announce that I am a 2017-2018 Debutante contestant in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Nu Chi Omega Chapter, Scholarship Program.
The Debutante Scholarship Program is centered on providing young ladies with the opportunity to raise funds for their college education while participating in many educational, cultural, and community service activities. The program will culminate with the presentation of the 2018 Debutante Queen on April 7, 2018 at Northern Granville Middle School Auditorium in Oxford, NC.
As a junior at Park View High School, I have been able to maintain a 4.3 GPA while being a member of the PVHS Forensics Team and president of our Beta Club and FBLA Chapter (Future Business Leaders of America). Last year, I co-founded the Kids=Play initiative. With the support of our community, family, and friends, Kids=Play was able to raise $100,000 for the first all-inclusive playground in Southern Virginia where children with and without disabilities have the equal opportunity to play together.
As I continue to prepare to further my education, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in my scholarship efforts. Any contribution that you can make toward my goal of earning the title of 2018 Nu Chi Omega Debutante Queen would be greatly appreciated.
The Contribution Levels are:
* Diamond ($100 and up)
* Gold ($99-$50)
* Silver ($49-$25)
* Bronze ($24-$10)
*Patrons (Under $10)
I ask that all contributions be made before March 30, 2018.
