In loving memory of Nicole (Nykky) Floyd

Please help us raise money to support the family of Nicole (Nykky) Floyd, who passed away suddenly on May 27, 2023, after giving birth to her second son in Savannah, Georgia. She was 32 years old.

Nykky is survived by her husband, Jalil, and her sons, Khyri and Ehren, her mother and stepfather, Reva and Stanley Fitzpatrick, her biological father, brother, stepsiblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of family and friends.

Endlessly creative, Nykky had a deep passion for writing, singing, painting, crafting, gardening, and baking. She enjoyed game nights with family and friends, walks through parks, and advocating for moms dealing with postpartum depression as a volunteer with Postpartum Support International. We were so honored to work alongside her and to witness her passion and commitment to improving Black maternal health, especially in coastal Georgia.

"Nyk was my everything. She embodied unwavering dedication as a wife and mother, giving her all to provide for her boys. Despite countless reassurances to slow down, she never felt satisfied, always striving to do more. Her remarkable ability to optimize situations, be it in the workplace or in pursuit of her creative endeavors, showcased her exceptional mind.

An avid reader with a deep love for music, singing, and writing, Nyk brought a harmonious balance to my life. Wherever I faltered, she stood strong, and vice versa. Her innate compassion shone brightly as she tirelessly extended a helping hand to others, particularly to those grappling with challenges similar to her own."
