I want to see the world for what it is, I don’t want to listen to the news or hear different perspectives of the world, I want to see it for myself. I want to be able to smell the wind of a foreign country. I want to experience other countries customs and traditions.
With your help, this study abroad will be the peak of my journey on fully becoming my best self.
Nyjai (Ni-Jah) Black, that is a name you will not want to forget. I have big plans in store, one of those plans are finally being put into action. I have been accepted into Michigan State University's Study Abroad Program, Australia and New Zealand's People, Government, and Justice System for the 2019 Spring semester.
This study abroad will approximately cost $10,000. Some of my expenses will be covered by financial aid, but majority of the costs are going to be out of pocket. I love and appreciate my family so much, but we simply cannot afford this on our own. We need YOUR help! Please continue to believe in and support me by helping this fund reach its goal of $4, 240. Every penny counts and I am very grateful to all of my supporters. This is for me, but it is very much for you too. My support system has put so much time, energy, and effort into my education and me as a person, it is only right I SUPERSEDE their expectations for me.
