Scott Parker passed away the morning of March 4, 2015 at age 54. This was the end on a six week journey from being diagnosised with malignant glioblastoma multiforme - a category four astrocytoma (tumor). Scott went through alot these last few months - brain surgery, rehabilitation, chemotherapy, radiation, tumor regrowth, and then his passing.
My mom, Sheri, documented the last few months in a series of journal entries through Caring Bridge (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/scottrparker).
He is survived by his wife, Sheri, who is a kindergarden teacher; two sons Josh (26) and Bobby (24); as well as two daughters Laura (23) and Shelby (12).
He was a tremdous man and freely gave his time to all he met. He was a family man and loved nothing more than family movie nights, sunday morning church, weekends at the lake, and time spent coaching his daughter's softball team.
Last Tuesday (3/3/15) Scott's son and daughter-in-law (Bobby and Kami) lost their unborn child at 39 weeks. Emma Lynn was to be the first grandchild for my parents and a joy beyond measure for my father.
The purpose of this page is to hopefully raise money to offset the medical bills and final expenses coming my family's way. Every little bit will help our family through this most trying time. Thank you and God bless.
