Olivia's Heart Surgery

Hello Everyone, as hard as it is for me to say it, we need help!  If you don't know already Olivia Hope Colberg, our baby girl, that was born 7/21/2017, has a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot and will be having open heart surgery on 9/26/2017 in Denver, CO.  We were lucky enough to find out back in March before she was born and were told we would have a year to plan for her surgery.  Unfortunately, after she was born, they found that her ventricle septal defect (the hole/murmur in her septal wall) and pulmonary stenosis were more severe than anticipated and decided the best course of action was to move the surgery up.  We had planned and saved enough funds for Carrie's maternity leave to end on 9/18/2017.  With the surgery looming, Carrie will not be able to return to work until 10/16/2017 at the earliest.  Unfortunately, we were not able to plan on the additional expenses of traveling so soon after Olivia was born.  Any donation will go towards the bills and expenses needed to travel and stay in Denver and any money that isn't used for those purposes will be donated to Mended Little Hearts .  We will be required to stay there 2-3 weeks.  We need any help you're willing to provide.  We've been blessed with amazing friends and family!  We've been able to arrange for someone to take care of our dogs and cats while we're away.  The biggest burden, other than the worry and stress of our baby going under the knife, is the financial stress of making sure we can stay close to her.  If you're not able to donate anything monetary, please keep us in your thoughts.  We need all the positive vibes we can get!  We love you and thank you all so much from every corner of our hearts!
