Babygirl is back in the hospital.

Hello, My name is Lamar Middleton, I've lived in Syracuse New York since I was 5 years old. I'm now 55 years young. My babygirl Lashaura Middleton is in the hospital she has stepped down from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). I will attempt to take you on this roller coaster ride were on. It all started 8 weeks ago my 11 year old daughter Lashaura and 12 year old son Jihsaon, went to a sleep over for the weekend. About 5:00a.m., we got a phone call saying Lashaura was having a asthma attack. It was mom's turn to pick the kids up so she left to get them. About 5 minutes later I got a second call stating Lashaura has stopped breathing.  As mom was pulling up to the house a young man who lived upstairs came running out with my babygirl limp and not breathing. He had begun giving her mouth to mouth and chest compressions. He jumped into the car with Lashaura in his arms and mom raced to the hospital. When I arrived they sent me to a waiting room where mom was sitting crying. Mom said to me Lashaura's heart and breath had stopped for about 10 minutes. I crumbled to my knees and began praying, asking God to not take our child. I can't tell you how long we were waiting because time stood still. When they told us we could see her they had her encased in a bag. She was in a induced coma, she was sent to get xrays and then off to PICU. The next goal was for her to remain stable enough to begin the healing process, but this was not to be. She then suffered a lung collapse, blood clots in her right leg, fevers and intensive storming. That's when the nerves and the brain are not communicating and the body seemingly is convulsing. This little girl is a true fighter she has fought  her little heart out to survive. Oh yeah just before she passed out she said please don't let me die!!! Lashaura has suffered brain swelling and has not yet regained her speech or cognitive functions. She is being fed through a tube and is currently receiving Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. Here's the problem, the insurance company will not pay for her continued hospital stay even though it's very risky for her to go home. We are living on a fixed income and we don't make enough to provide all the services she need, but make too much to get medical assistance! Our home needs to be modified, I can do the work we need some materials.
