Lawray Architects Carten 2020

This year Lawray Architects Cardiff Studio chosen charity is Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff. 

On the 2nd May 2020, a team of 8 were supposed to be taking part in the Carten, however, this has now been postponed to September 2020 due to Covid-19. For those of you that don't know, the Carten is a 100 mile chairty bike ride in one day starting in Cardiff, finishing in Tenby.

With an aim of raising more money for the fantastic chairty some of the team have decided to undertake individual challenges on the 2nd May 2020 to mark the date of what should have been the Carten.  They have taken inspiration from the '26' challenge: 

Natalie will be undertaken a 2 hour 60-minute stint on her turbo trainer, whenever she gets off the bike i.e for toilet breaks etc she has to do 26 burpees before getting back onto the bike.  Whilst also ensuring her heart rate is above 115 bpm to make sure she is working at least 60% effort.

Michelle will be taking on a 26 mile bike ride around Cardiff.

Rhys will be undertaking a 26 mile bike ride around Cardiff.

James will be taking on a 26 mile bike ride around Cwmbran.

Rupert will be taking on a 26 mile bike ride around Cardiff.
