Well where do we start..
Today we make the heartbreaking decision to ask the community for help in our time of need. As we are a close private family this may come as a shock to many of you..
in July of last year our mother was admitted into hospital for an emergency operation on her burst appendix, as the surgeon was mid way through the operation he seemed to notice something wasn't right. After some tests and what seemed to be a life time in august 2016 we received the devastating news that our mother had developed stage 4 terminal cancer.
In September mam was to have a Hickman line fitted which didn't go without its complications, during the operation she suffered a punched lung which took some time for her to recover. After another long wait on her birthday 4th October 2016 mam received her first lot of chemo.
in November we lost our brother Adam which unfortunately was the second son our mum had to loose after loosing Kieran at the young age 14 to cancer (brain stem tumour) which had a massive effect on mams life and left her weak and unable to concentrate on fighting the cancer.
After 5 sessions on her first lot of chemo we were told the cancer had progressed and the chemo hadn't worked, at the back end of January the doctors decided to try another course of chemo which had no effect and yet again at the back one of March decided to change it but once again it didn't work, recently mam has become to ill and weak to continue on her chemo and is getting weaker by the day as it stands we've been told in the best case she may have a few weeks left to live and worst case she may not see a few days which for any family is heartbreaking news..
although we have been trying to raise funds since we found out the devastating news we still stand massively short of our target to give her the best ever send off as she deserves..
Our mam has helped so many people over her life time we are hoping people will be willing to help us raise the funds for a wonderful send off just as she deseves so we reluctantly ask today for any donations big or small. We would like to thank each and every person that has taken the time to read our story and thanks to anyone that's been so generous in making any donations, thanks again from us all x
We would also like to as people not to realy any time scales back to mam as she doesnt want to know how long she has left. The storey above is just a brief outline of our mothers troubles in her life if we were to include everything we would honestly be here for days "(
