Justice for Jess

Jessica, a loving and devoted single mother of three, was sexually assaulted by two men in St. Louis City in January of this year. What she thought was going to be a night out with friends turned into a nightmare that she has yet to wake up from.

Jessica has been her strongest advocate. The events have taken a great toll: she hasn't recently been able to work due to the physical and emotional stress that she has lived with since the attack. She sent her children to live with their father so that she can seek professional help as she recovers.

We, her friends and family, recognize that she has unmet needs and we would like to support her in the quest to bring her attackers to justice.   Any funds raised through this effort will go toward the following:

- Monthly living expenses

- Legal expenses

- Medical expenses

- Post-Trauma Counseling

- Transportation costs: the transmission on her 18 year-old van recently went out, so she is looking for a functional vehicle

- Relocation expenses: for Jessica’s safety, she is moving to a new residence.

Due to this being an ongoing investigation, names of the alleged perpetrators and specific allegations related to this case will remain anonymous and undisclosed. The intent of this fundraiser is to assist Jessica as she boldly and courageously commits to making the streets of St. Louis safer for women.
