Our family is asking for donations to open a business that will help serve our local community and keep their loved ones active and connected.
In 2010 our mother was in an accident and suffered a Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI). What she went through inside the hospital and rehabilitation process is what inspired our family to open:
Ms. Jane’s Place
A unique physical fitness facility for individuals with physical disabilities, cognitive impairments and the elderly serving the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
Payment would be on a private pay sliding scale basis. We will not bill any insurance companies. We will have a full staff to help support and train every client on what equipment would be best for their individual needs and goals.
Every year in the United States over 1.7 million people suffer from a TBI. Many of these people are elderly or wounded soldiers returning home from serving our country. Ms. Jane’s Place would be a place for these individuals to connect, get inspired and be active at their own pace.
Our family knows firsthand that having a facility like this would have been a game changer in our mothers early stages of recovery.
Our mission:
To provide an exercise based facility to support individuals with disabilities that inspires and motivates, that is supportive and fun and where no one is ever given up on.
