Richard Peacock is Alive

To those that may not have heard on Dec.23/2019, my nephew Richard Peacock was in a horrific snowmobile accident, on a lake, ski broke through top layer of slush went through top soft layer causing sled ski to dig in flipping him off the sled landing and skidding along ice.  Multiple injuries with the worst being fracturing C5/C6, originally air evacuated to Kamloops Hospital. Where upon it was decided he needed to be Air Evacuated to VGH Spinal Cord Unit.  Surgery has been performed, he is now in ICU getting assisted breathing via a respirator.  It’s early yet to know the full extent of his injuries, at this point upper body movement, lower body not yet.  He has been advised he is in for a very long ordeal to recovery, months in fact.  Richard has been self employed, and doesn’t carry any disability insurance, lives and works in Enderby, I know that for the future there will be many unexpected expenses, as he won’t be in a position to provide for himself, I thought perhaps we could reach out to  those that know that this will be a life altering event that has happened to Richard.
