Timothy's Run for Randy
Donation protected
THANK YOU to everyone who has donated and sent well wishes to Randy and his family! They are extremely grateful for the outpouring support!
UPDATE: 1 June 2015
Timothy isn't done yet. During the half marathon run, Timothy expressed to me that he is very proud of himself for being able to help Randy. He has decided that he is not going to stop until he reaches his goal of $5000 for Randy.
Timothy is going to run ANOTHER HALF MARATHON for Randy!
We are still working out the details to find another race that will allow him to run at his young age. Updates will be posted here and on his FB page once we find a race.
PLEASE continue sharing and donating!

Timothy Willoughby is 7 years old. He has a gigantic heart.
On May 17th, 2015 Timothy will be running his first HALF MARATHON (13.1 miles) at the Cleveland Marathon for his schoolmate, Randy Perry. The boys attend New Bedford Academy together in Lambertville, Michigan.
Born on May 26, 2001, Randy was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. Randy was recently the lucky recipient of a new kidney, but his road to recovery is far from over. With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses.
When Timothy found out that Randy needed a new "organ", he wanted to hold a bake sale to help. Instead, I asked him if he wanted to use his athletic ability to help. Then Timothy blurted out that he's going to "RUN FOR RANDY"!
This campaign is set up to have funds be sent DIRECTLY to COTA to aide Randy on his road to recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to donate to the big heart of a 7 year old distance runner, and the long time recovery of a young man with a second chance at life.
