I have had the pleasure of calling him my husband, and am so lucky to have had in my life 39 years. He started out as my friend and has remained by best friend and confidante. Joe and I share a daughter Vanessa and two grandsons Jamison and Jaiden. He is known to most as Joe Pepe but to Jamison he is Schweepa, the special bond they share is beyond amazing and this special little boy is his best medicine. Schweepa’s health has declined but certainly not his spirit, smile and loyalty to his family and many,many friends. All medical and surgical options have been exhausted and he needs to be discharged from a hospital setting. Unfortunately insurance coverage will not re-certify subacute care. Therefore private pay options are our only alternative. He needs 24/7 nursing care at this stage .
Here at Morristown Memorial he is somewhat of a celebrity and nurses comes to visit who have enjoyed getting to know him and took care of him through many hospital stays here. The reason for his popularity is so pure and simple he enjoys and takes an interest in people and his gregarious personality, piercing blue eyes and ability to laugh and make jokes even at the worst of times draws everyone to him. Please join me and share your love for my ex- which stands for extraordinary and give from your heart to this extra special man who has touched so many lives. If you were ever privileged enough to get a haircut,had him show you or sell you real estate, had your home staged, been served a gourmet meal as he was a chef for many years this is one small way you can thank him! But let’s face it just to know him is to love him and that is reason enough.
