Anitra's Mayo Clinic Fund

Hello everyone my name is Anitra,

 As much as it pains me to reach out for help, the disease I have been diagnosed with is even more painful.  I have recently been diagnosed with Addisons Disease on top of already battling type 1 diabetes. My goal for this fundraiser is to get enough funds to be able to travel to the mayo clinic to seek some expert care and possibly raise enough to help with any out of pocket cost like deductibles, gas, lodging, food etc. Due to my illness I am unable to work, other than a few days a month here and there. I also have a beautiful daughter that I want to be here for for many years to come. 

I found out 6 years ago that I had Diabetes and 4 years ago I was for sure a Type 1. During this time I found out I had Addisons Disease. This disease was famously known by JFK. Type 1 and Addisons mimick each others symptons. The doctors here were not able to help me with this. The only thing they could do is steroids injections which would shoot my blood sugars high and another hospital trip. 
The last 6 years I have been hospitalized 10 times or more. There are alot of days my 12 year old daughter has to help me get dressed because I am so weak. My time with her is not much because I get exhausted so quickly. She means the world to me. I was at the top of my game before all of this with work and a great future. Wanting another kid is now out of reach for me because of my energy level and diabetes with Addisons.
Doctors have also advised me I would never run again because of the weakness and swelling in my legs. 
I wake up one day and feel great the next day is a battle.

If this trip becomes a good one and they could possibly do a transplant of a pancreas down the road.
