NSC 2019 Prague Travel Fund

Please help the singers of the Nashville Symphony Chorus travel to Prague, Czech Republic, to perform Carl Orff's Carmina Burana in the beautiful Municipal House - Smetana Hall! We are a group of passionate, committed and fun loving singers who need your help to make this trip a reality.  We are an all-volunteer group of singers who gather weekly to work together to bring beautiful music to life as the official "vocal arm of the Nashville Symphony".

Not all of our members can afford to travel to Prague next summer for the concert but there are some who would go if only they could receive some financial assistance.  The purpose of this GoFundMe account is to raise money to provide travel grants to a select group of worthy singers.

Some of us have never been overseas before, some of us have never been on a choir trip before, and all of us just love singing! What an honor it would be to share our gifts with the people of Prague in this famous concert hall. And beyond that, this journey would allow us to perform and travel with some of our closest friends. The bonds built on this trip will last a lifetime!

Your financial support is paramount in making this trip a reality. Without your help, some very deserving and talented choristers will miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  We all have the passion to go, but not all of us have the financial means. Singers who receive your generous donations will be chosen by the chorus leadership team based on financial need and the importance of their voice to the overall vocal ensemble.

Any money that you are able to give this intrepid group of volunteer singers is greatly appreciated! Donations to the chorus travel fund may or may not be tax deductible.  Neither the chorus nor our parent, the Nashville Symphony Association, makes any claim or attestation regarding the tax status of donations to this travel fund. 

The possibility of this trip makes our hearts sing as it will be an unbelievable experience and a trip to remember!
