Charity Head Shave

I cannot believe I am writing this, but I’ve decided to shave my head to raise money for Parkinson’s Disease Society. 

My grandad lived with Parkinson’s for 17 years. Parkinson’s is such an awful disease, fortunately I can remember the times where my grandad would push me for hours on the swing, and when we would play chess in front of the fire, planting sunflowers together and watch Peter and the Wolf on repeat... theses memories are precious and I am grateful that I can remember my Grandad when he could still do relatively “normal” things with me, sadly my younger brother and cousins were not lucky enough to experience these times with him. 

There is currently no cure for Parkinson’s disease, but I’m hoping the money I raise will be able to help those who need help with research, care, support, and physio. 

My Granny was the most amazing carer to my Grandad throughout the 17 years along with the 4 lovely carers that aided her in his final 18 months.
