Norwegian Fjord Compassion Fund

Thank you to the wonderfully generous group of Fjord loving owners and admirers who donated.  We saved Van Gogh, the Fjord gelding found at the Colorado kill lot.  We paid his bail, transport, Coggins, brand inspection and board.  He will be going home to Brandy Ferganchick soon.  To continue with our quest of preventing and saving Fjord horses from being sent to auction and entering the disgusting slaughter pipeline, we have established a rescue fund to quickly bail, transport, and find homes for these ponies.  We will also try to help owners pay vet bills to humanely euthanize Fjords too ill to continue, as an option to selling to kill buyers.  Please visit the Norwegian Fjord Horse Rescue Facebook page for additional rescue details.  Keep donating.  Every little bit helps.  Thank you.
