Northgate Elementary School Fund

Northgate Elementary School is raising funds for part-time lunch supervision, sending our 4th and 5th graders to camp, and copy paper. Our school community is rich in love, vitality, and diverse cultures; yet we depend on the generosity of our greater Seattle community to provide financial support for some of our basic needs.
Northgate is a Title 1 school and about 25% of our students were experiencing homelessness during the 2016-17 school year. We have set a goal of collecting $15,000 this year for these three causes:
+ Hourly supervision provides safety and security for all our students.
+ Sending 5th graders to camp is a typical event for Seattle Public Schools' students. We don't want our Northgate students to be an exception because of limited funds. We also want to join our neighboring schools in sending 4th graders to an overnight for immersion in outdoor science education.
+ The Seattle community gave big during the 2016-17 school year when we called out for copy paper. We see the need again this school year.
