Buy supplies for community making masks & shields

We're a group of residents of Northern IL and we're using whatever skills, equipment, materials, and time we have, to create personal protective equipment for the people and organizations that need it. Healthcare personnel and first responders are working with, and around, COVID19 patients everyday without the proper face shields and masks. This puts them, and those around them, at a much greater risk of infection. We have volunteers 3d printing, sewing, prepping materials, packing requests, and delivering equipment to as many as we can.

This started with a few people, individually doing their best to help local organizations, along with family and friends. Over the last week, we've banded together to try and increase production and take on additional requests. We've received requests for 1000s of face shields and sewn masks for organizations all over Northern IL and the demand is only getting greater.

This gofundme is to help us meet the growing materials costs as well as things like fuel for transport. All money that is collected and not used towards this cause will be donated. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

We encourage anyone with a need for PPE due to the shortage related to COVID19, please fill out the request form here, and we'll do our best to provide equipment at no cost. Please only request what you NEED so that we may serve as many as possible.
