Norma Zarate was a loving, bright, and generous daughter, sister, and aunt who was taken from us far too soon at the age of 22. Everyone blessed to know this kind and beautiful soul is better because they met her.
Norma worked as my legal assistant at Langford and Wise prior to her diagnosis and while she was in treatment. I was always amazed at her ability to remain gentle, kind, and determined under all circumstances. She was such a pure light in a world that is often so dark.
After battling cancer for the previous nine months, Norma died on November 19th, 2017.
Given Norma's young age and the sheer quickness of the disease, her family faces this loss unexpectedly, both emotionally and financially.
At this time of unimaginable grief, I want to ensure that Norma's family doesn't need to worry about funeral costs or unpaid medical bills. Please donate what you can to help her family through this difficult time so they can focus on what is really important---reflecting on their time with Norma and spending time with each other.
