Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On Sept. 24, 2018, our colleague Norma Rodriguez experienced a devastating apartment fire. She and her pet were able to get out safely, but she has probably lost everything and will have some immediate emergency needs. It will be a long recovery, so let's rally around our colleague and offer her the support and comfort she needs during this difficult time.
We have set a lofty goal of $5,000 (now $10,000), but please consider that she is having to start over from scratch. Keep this in mind when you make your decision about a financial gift. All donations are welcome and we will be giving her these funds to purchase not only some immediate clothing, food and personal items, but also some more long-term needs such as furniture, appliances and other household goods.
