Noopheng-Walker Family Fire Relief Fund

My son and his young family lost their home to fire on Thanksgiving Day!

As the fire grew on the second floor, Dad Rod, suffered injury while evacuating the children.  Everything that made their house a home has been severely damaged or destroyed by fire, smoke, toxins, or water.   All essentials from diapers and clothing to food and furnishings have been destroyed.  

Mom Lada, is a fabulous home cook with chef-like abilities.  Often, she creates restaurant quality meals for her family and friends.  During the rolling blackouts due to the wildfires, she made and provided meals to families in the community who were without power.  Their home office and all equipment are lost.

On the day of this tragedy, the Red Cross responded with a voucher to assist the family.  With that, they were able to purchase warm clothing, food and attain shelter at a local hotel.  Those funds have since been depleted. Their shelter must now be paid for out of pocket.

Daily, they search for a new place, as the Noopheng-Walkers now must rebuild their nest, not only for themselves, but for their family pet.
