Welcome to our non-fundraiser FUNDRAISER
We have had many people suggest that they would prefer to make a donation rather than be tasked with selling cookies, raffle tickets, cheese, sausages etc. THIS is your chance. We are planning on doing one non-fundraiser FUNDRAISER annually, in an effort to reduce everyone’s workload and volunteer hours needed, and to increase our time with our children, family and friends.
We are asking that you and those that you are close to you, make an online donation to Alpenglow school in the form of a Night Out, Weekend Away, or Escape to Paradise. What does that mean? Instead of treating yourself to one of these three luxuries, you forgo the indulgence and donate the cost to Alpenglow. No donation is too small or too big, and a tax receipt can be issued. This is your opportunity to make a financial contribution to Alpenglow School.
The Night Out, Weekend Away, or Escape to Paradise will take place anytime between now and Saturday June 7th. If you are not in a position to make a donation that is understandable, we just ask that you please pass this opportunity on to those that are close to you.
Why is Alpenglow seeking donations? Although Alpenglow is under the umbrella of the Canadian Rockies Public School board (CRPS), we are not fully funded by them, and therefore require additional funding. Our Educational Assistant, classroom supplies, books, outdoor gear and equipment, are not paid for by CRPS, however they are essential to the program that Alpenglow seeks to deliver. The Early Childhood Program (ECP) which runs solely under Aplenglow Community Education Society (ACES) also needs funding to help with teacher training, paying rent and aiding in the support of the administrator.
