Noah's Run (in aid of Letterkenny Paediatric Ward)

Hi Folks,

Event - Noah's Run ( in aid of Letterkenny
General Hospital, Paediatric Ward )

I'm going to hopefully complete, 161km / 100 mile in 7 days, starting next bank holiday,
Monday, 3rd of May 2021.

I will run approx, 23km a day for 7 days

(1/2 Marathon + Vat each day) its a lot of
running but I'm looking forward to it .

The challenge is to raise funds for the
Paediatric Ward at Letterkenny General
Hospital.

The inspiration behind same, comes from a
brave young man by the name of Noah Gooch who is fighting Leukemia at present.

Speaking with his father recently, Lee Gooch, the ward is in desperate need of a few
essential items to make a child's stay
more comfortable.

I'm hoping to raise funds to purchase the
following items,

1 - Commodes for children who are currently using ones designed for adults.

2 - Improve waiting rooms / play areas to
make them more appealing to the young
patients, adding drawings, colour and
possibly a fish tank, etc.....

3 -  Simple things like universal remotes for
TVs, basically anything that will make a
child's life more comfortable during their
stay.

I believe €3000 would go a long way to
achieving this so I'm setting my target at
same.
