Noah James - Seizure and Surgery Recovery

Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn Wanamaker and I am fundraising for my family.

We have had our 36th ambulance ride with our 2yr old son, Noah James. Noah has a complex medical history that includes a rare chromosome deletion, hydrocephalus, dandy walker malformation, spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, congestive heart failure, dystonia, and more. 

The last couple months Noah has spent more time in the PICU than at home. We have been fighting with insurance to get VNS approved for noah to hopefully start to gain some control over his seizures and give him a better quality of life. 

During this time my husband, Matt, has needed to take time off work. We are a one income family, which means that when Matt isn’t able to work then funds get very tight.

Our fundraising goal is $5,500 to help cover bills, child care for our other children (1yr old and 7 month old), groceries, gas, and other things that we will need during this extended hospital stay. Any funds raised will help our family be able to focus on Noah and his recovery without worrying about money.
