No time to Grieve

Hi, I'm Jeanne Cimillo. My husband was a long-haul truck driver for many years. In April of 2019, he was in a horrific trucking accident that ended his career. He was placed on Disability shortly after that. He had memory issues. He was also a diabetic. He blacked out momentarily while driving in Pennsylvania. His semi flipped several times and ended up in a ravine. While home, he didn't want to go anywhere and when the pandemic hit, I worked from home. I got to see how different his demeanor was. I tried to help him all I could. They ultimately gave him a pacemaker since his heart skips a beat every once in a while.

On March 26, 2022, while riding a scooter in Walmart, he fell over and seemed to have passed out. They turned him over and he was already blue. He was revived and sent to a hospital. He underwent a quadruple bypass. Then he had both an infection in his lungs and kidney. He was too weak to wake up so he died on April 7th. It was a cascade system failure.

Our family had a service for him on April 13th. I was distraught. The following day I received a new lease agreement on my door. I have a $900 a month increase in rent. All I was told from the leasing office was, 'We are only the messenger, and this was corporate's decision.'

This leaves a grieving widow in the lurch. There is no recourse. I have to move. I am not ready to box up his belongings. Since moving is inevitable and it has to be soon. I need help.

The Funeral tapped out my funds. I am also disabled, and I cannot do the move myself.

Please help me restart. Maybe soon, when it's done, I can have a much-needed good cry.
