No Shave November - Marlboro NJ Police Department

The Marlboro Township Police Department will once again be participating in "No Shave November".  No Shave November is an annual charity event where men don't shave or cut their facial hair for the entire month of November as a way of raising money for a good cause.

This year, we will be raising money for The Frances Foundation for Kids Fighting Cancer, Inc. The Frances Foundation is a Monmouth County 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to bring smiles and comfort to children battling cancer. They also provide financial assistance to pediatric cancer families.

Donations raised this year will help children like Hayden and their families. Hayden is a 14 year old Marlboro resident who was diagnosed with Leukemia last November. At the start of his treatments, Hayden was supposed to be in the hospital for 30 days but ended up staying for over 6 weeks. From there he had Anaphylaxis to the following chemotherapy treatments and needed to go to the clinic 3 times a week for his chemotherapy shot.

And although Hayden is autistic, he has been a trooper throughout, never complaining while maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude.
