I hope and trust 2016 is going great for you all.
I can't help but feel a bit awkward sharing this GOFundMe Campaign given all the great and charitable causes out there folks could spend their hard earned dollars on, but given some encouragement from friends, fans and supporters, I felt it was the right time to reach out to you all.
I have been given the rare opportunity to spend time in Nashville with two incredibly accomplished and influential writers on a professional writers retreat. The connections and songs that come out of it could potentially open some great doors for an aspiring writer like myself.
Given current exchange rates, and the costs for a seat at the table, transportation and accommodations, I find myself reaching out to my network to ask for your consideration. My goal is to raise $5000.00 CDN by the 25th of September. Flying out on the 29th.
Regardless of whether or not I hit my goal I want to sincerely thank you all for your time and consideration. I have to tell you I've been blessed my entire life. Where others find struggle, I have found success, friendship, love and support. I know how truly blessed I am.
