In September 2012 (in less than 60 days!) Impact Church is sending a mission team, in conjunction with United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, to assist in Haiti's rebuild. This will be Impact's first international mission and I have been blessed to have been selected as part of this team's inaugural trip!
Although it's been more than two years since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, the country is still in great need of aid. Our work will involve completing a sanitation project to supply clean drinking and cleaning water to a school and church in Cap-Haitien.
The mission team has a fundraising goal of $16,000 to cover the cost associated with sending the mission volunteers to Haiti. My personal goal is to raise $2000.00. Any donation amount is welcome and appreciated!
There are three easy ways to assist with my fundraising efforts: (1) Make a secure donation on my GoFundMe webpage (2) Donate to me personally via check, money order payable to Impact Church (memo line: Angela Johnson/Haiti Mission); mail to Angela Johnson 3733 Brittany Walk Atlanta, GA 30331 (3) pass
my information and request to your friends.
Should you prefer to give a cash donation, please contact me at: [email redacted].
Please be in prayer for both my team going to Haiti and the people we will assist; and rest assured that your contribution will make a lasting difference in the lives of those that you may never meet.
