Please Help Us Save Apollo

As many of you may already know, our puppy, Apollo, acquired a life threatening viral infection from a foreign substance that he ingested and it has inflammed his intestines. His condition has worsened as he began to have continuous vomiting and bloody, liquid bowel movements since his admission to the hospital.
For the past 5 days, he has been attached to an IV and is receiving fluids, antibiotics, anti-nausea, and anti-vomitting medications. His 5 month old body is currently not strong enough to fight off this virus which has made him frail and weak as he is unable to keep food down via syringe feedings. His weight has decreased from 17 to 12 lbs in just days. He is now being fed via Nasogastric Tube so he can receive the nutrients he needs to fight the infection and survive.
The hospital said they have done everything within their means in order to help him, and our only option at this point is to continue the current supportive treatment that he is receiving until he hopefully fights through this and gets better. As Apollo's infection is viral in nature, it takes much longer to fight off than a bacterial infection.
We have both reached into our savings and credit to cover the $3,500+ we've already spent on work-up, treatments, and hopital fees for the last 5 days, and what we have left available will only get us so far into his care and recovery. We unfortunately do not have enough to cover further continuous days that he may need in order to fully recover. Though we have pet insurance, we unfortunately have to pay all cost out-of-pocket up front prior to submitting any claims to his insurance in hopes that they will reimburse whatever may be covered; which I'm sure we all know how that experience may or may not turn out and how long that may take with any insurance company.
As difficult as it is for us to ask for assistance, we are reaching out to our close friends and family to help us out in any way they can to save our Apollo. He means the world to us and we are willing to do everything we can in order to cover his cost. Along with any appreciated donations, we are also selling our personal possesions such as bikes, cameras, etc. (we will post via Facebook) in order to raise as much as we can for his care and recovery.
