Hello friends and family,
My name is Joshua Romero, and I am one of Edwards 6 kids. I am writing this on behalf of my entire family during this difficult time.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this story. By now many of you may have heard the tragic news of our father Edward Romero’s sudden passing due to COVID complications on Saturday December 19th, 2020. The hole he left in all our hearts can never be filled, but the memories he left behind will be cherished by all those he touched.
For those of you who had the privilege of knowing him, know that he not only was a father, son, brother, uncle, grandparent but a best friend to many of us. Our dad showed us what the word defeatist means through actions. Through all the pain and suffering he experienced he never gave up and persevered. He was filled with compassion for others, wisdom for those lost or strength for the ones who could not stand on their own.
Not many words can convey all the emotional strain our family is enduring now. With all the stress and pain of losing our beloved father, son, brother and best friend it also unfortunately, brings financial burden. The goal is to alleviate the financial stress on our family during this unfortunate time. All funds will go directly to offset the cost of a funeral and memorial for our father.
