Nina Soleil's Diabetes Camp
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I'm asking for friends, collegues, and associates to contribute to my fairy-glam-niece to keep her happy and healthy. One of my favored friends, is experiencing financial hardship to keep her daughter Nina healthy.
Nina Soleil is a 4th grader managing TYPE ONE Insulin Dependent Diabetes. She is participating in a rigorous academic program while her mother is creating opportunities to empower her to thrive as a young adult and beyond. The past few years since diagnosis have been endured at a frenetic pace while the cost to care continues to create a lasting financial impact leaving no budget for summer care and enrichment programs. With changes in healthcare looming and the threat of preexisting conditions the challenge to prepare for changing costs continue to be a significant barrier.
Currently, there is no cure for this autoimmune chronic condition. Nina Soleil endures finger pricks and injections by day and even while she sleeps, exhibiting strength and resilience not seen in many 10 year olds. Through the diabetes summer camps and day camps Nina Soleil will continue her path to empowerment in preparation for independent self-management and continued academic excellence. Please consider assisting with the cost of care for this summer 2017. Any donations will be received with gratitude.
A suggested donation of $50 for professionals and $250 for business owners. Please remember this is a goal and any amount will be greatly appreciated. This also qualifies as a tax deduction. Please help me spread the word by telling and forwarding this link to friends, coworkers and community advocates.
Please remember it takes a village! Thank you and God Bless!
