Nile-Cliffdell Firefighter's Association Fund

The Nile-Cliffdell Firefighter's Association is a non-profit benefiting the first responders of Yakima County Fire Protection 14. Nile-Cliffdell Fire and Rescue is an all hazards team of first responders and rescue personnel. Known as the "Fighting 410s" they respond fight structure fires, wild-land fires, respond to motor vehicle accidents, medical calls, hazmat, mountain rescue, swift-water rescue, and even the occasional kitten in a tree.

The challenge YCFPD14 faces is the make up of the district itself. Extending the WA-410 Corridor the terrain is rugged and remote, the population spread out and the tax base is small. Thats what makes your donation so very important. The "Fighting 410s" respond to the calls for help from not only our citizens but the influx of tourists which often times is up to 10X our population base. Although we love to share our mountain playground with all that come to recreate here, it strips our district of operational funds with no way to replenish it. That coupled with a major disaster like the Schnieder Springs Fire which we are currently dealing with and our life saving efforts are dealt a major financial blow.

Thats where the Nile-Cliffdell Firefighter's Association comes in. The association assists in the funding of supplies, materials, equipment, training, and uniforms. We pick up where district funding ends. Help us help those on the front lines of Emergency First Response.
