Jane Nikki Engel's Memorial

I am Jane Nikki Engel's sister, Susan Kay.

Jane Nikki tragically died on August 3rd,2017 at 8:40 am in a fire at 9290 Calle de Vecinos Desert Hot Springs, CA. 92240.

Our family is not only devastated by the loss of my sister but also burial and memorial expenses are also a burden we need to overcome in this difficult time.

Nikki was very well respected in her community of Desert Hot Springs and throughout the Coachella Valley.   She was recently elected the vice-preisdent of the Desert Hot Springs Women's Club, she was an Elk, a volunteer for the Neighborhood Group breakfasts and overall a good friend to many.  

KESQ said that "Engel was well-known for her work with the club where she helped with raising fund for local schools and other events across the city. Her death is still being processed by those who knew her well."

We need help with Nikki's burial expenses and misc. final bills.  We want to have her rest in peace where she loved to be; in her home, the Coachella Valley so many people can share in saying "goodbye".  She would of wanted that. Jane Nikki is still at Indio Corner's office till we can pay for everything to have her buried.

Also, the fire damage to the home has left it in an unrepairable state in which we need to help take care of as well.

We are hoping to have the burial services will take place Wednesday or Thursday Aug 9th or 10th 2017 of this week later on in the early evening
