On April 28, 2021, I am taking the challenge to complete 100 holes of golf at High Cedars GC (Executive Course), raising money to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Please pledge your support! Any amount is appreciated.
After I lost my dad to suicide in 2013, I was amazed by how many friends and acquaintances I spoke with who had gone through the same thing with a friend or family member and never openly shared their story. Suicide is a giant elephant in the room that people have a tough time talking about. The work AFSP does focuses on eliminating the loss of life from suicide by: delivering innovative prevention programs, educating the public, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those who have lost someone to suicide.
