On March 15, 2016 our dad was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer. On March 17, 2016 he underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor, luckily he has an excellent neurological surgeon, the surgery was a success and the tumor was removed. Unfortunately with the type of cancer our dad has, we were told it will come back and about a month ago it did. Although my dad is healthy enough to undergo another surgery we have decided to search an alternative route. We are desperate to get rid of his cancer, not to endure surgery after surgery until he is no longer healthy enough for another surgery. Our goal is to kick cancers ass, not prolong death. My parents have found a doctor in Houston Texas that specializes in brain tumors, unfortunately most of the treatment is not covered by insurance, which is going to be a HUGE financial burden on our parents. I have to say asking for help makes me feel INCREDIBLY uncomfortable, but we'll do anything for our amazing parents. Anyone that knows us knows that we would never ask for help if we didn't NEED it. Depending on how many months it'll take for my dad's treatment the out of pocket will range from $56,000 - $141,000 and that doesn't even include travel expenses. We can't watch our parents lose their entire life savings and home just trying to get my dad healthy again, it's just not right. The kind of love my parents have for each other they would do anything if it meant one more day with each other. We want the best for our parents because they deserve it. They are the most giving, loving, people and we are so lucky to have them as our parents. They are good people and good people deserve good things. Any amount that you're able to donate, we would be eternally grateful. If you think $10 is not enough, please know it is! We would appreciate ANY HELP at all. Thank you so much! & PLEASE SHARE
