Nick Hollatz's Cancer Fight

Donation protected
Our brother-in-law and friend Nick Hollatz has just finished treatments for his second round of Lymphoma and is now getting ready for a stem cell transplant.  We are starting a Go Fund Me to help relieve some stress and financial burden during these difficult times.
Nick was first diagnosed with NLP (Nodular Lymphomcyte-Predominant) Hodgkin Lymphoma in November of 2015.  He has been in remission until a couple of months ago, where at a routine check up they discovered cancer in his lymph nodes, abdomen and spleen.  On June 14, 2018, Nick had surgery to remove his 10 pound spleen and on June 28th he began chemo treatments.  After a couple of strong treatments he is now getting ready for a stem cell transplant.  This whole process will begin September 5th and could last through early October.  On September 7th Nick will have surgery for a chest catheter and then on Sept. 10th they will begin the stem cell transplant and chemo treatments.  During stem cell treatments Nick has to stay in Omaha to be near the hospital until the doctors okay him to go home.  Due to their 2 young children they will be staying in a hotel instead of hospital housing, until Nick starts to feel very ill.  At that point, he will then become an inpatient at UNMC Buffet Cancer Center.  Kayla will be traveling back and forth from Columbus to Omaha during this time to be with the kids and trying to work.  Funds will be tight as they will not be working much, some medical is not covered by insurance, hotel stay, food and traveling.  Lots of people have been asking how they can help and right now helping them out with any financial donation would be appreciated.  Our Go Fund Me page will be linked to www.caringbridge.org/visit/nickhollatz if you would like to follow along with Nick's journey.
Much Appreciated,
